What is preventative maintenance?
Preventative maintenance is the best kept secret to a healthy HVAC system. It's a proven fact that routine maintenance not only improves your indoor air quality, but it also extends the life of your equipment. This means fewer repairs, less worry, and more money in your pocket.
The Effect of Not Maintaining Your HVAC System
When your unit coils accumulate dirt buildup, it takes your unit longer to run a heating or cooling cycle, significantly reducing efficiency. This results in refrigerant taking longer to evaporate, which can lead to higher humidity and indoor temperatures.
What's Included?
Our preventative maintenance program includes service twice a year (spring and fall) to prepare your equipment for the changing seasons.

Spring Service: run and test A/C, clean condenser coils, inspect evaporator coils, clean out condensate drains, inspect wiring, check capacitors, inspect drain pan, check filter, visual inspection of all controls, check freon levels, inspect blower motor

Fall Service: check filter, visual inspection of all controls, clean furnace cabinet (gas), inspect venting, test carbon monoxide levels in the home, inspect blower motors, inspect for gas leaks, treat condensate drain, inspect and test all safety controls, test thermostat for proper operation, evaluate system efficiency, inspect heater kit

How much will it cost?
1 year contract: $215 for one HVAC unit / $190 for each additional system plus a one-time trip charge of $35
2 year contract: $195 for one HVAC unit / $160 for each additional system plus a one-time trip charge of $35
3 year contract: $180 for one HVAC unit / $130 for each additional system plus a one-time trip charge of $35
